Vindigo was such a good app that for years I would only choose mobile devices that supported it. I turned my nose up at Blackberries and iPhones until and if they could run Vindigo. For anyone with the chops and vision to resuscitate Vindigo, a grateful subscription-paying public awaits.

To Jason, Lina Ledvin's mom, and all other Vindigoers: thanks for giving us years of wonder. I never got tired of showing other people your work. Best of luck on your next ventures.

One of the reason I stuck with Palm all of these years was for Vingido. I used it on a daily basis until I got an iPhone 2 days ago. No apps seem to come close that what Vindigo provided.

I will truly miss it and hope to see it resurface one day. I will continue to look for it!

Good luck to everyone that was laid off. If you're reading this, hoping you all move on to bigger and brighter things!

Well finally i decided to figure out what had happened to my vindigo updates, and this is what i learn. sad as it was really worth the price of admission. funny that you can still get food and service information.

Have to agree with all the comments above. Vindigo has been a great app for me for
4 years, both in cities I have lived and those I visit. If there are any email lists that will send updates for whether it will be made available for Windows Mobile 6, please let me know!

Wow, I'm late to this party, but I have been traveling for a while. I was wondering why my movie times were not syncing. What a shame - I, too, really liked Vindigo and used it a lot. No there is even less of a reason to keep my Treo 755p. If it became an iPhone app, I might consider joining the Apple party.

I agree - this was one of the few Palm apps worth paying for - and I also still have an active subscription. I find (found?) it incredibly useful when traveling - and being able to use it offline was key - the world's still got a long ways to go before that loses its value....
